Just a quick note to let everyone know that I’ve launched a new free gun classifieds site, GunMarket.us.
This site was created in response to the Reddit Guns community needing a “site like craigslist” to post free gun classifieds. All listings are 100% free, as in free beer. Free image hosting is included with the listings too. There is no registration required to post a listing.
I’ve set up a demo listing showing the features available, and you can search the whole US or by state and region, just like Craigslist. I’ve added a C&R specific section for all you C&R holders out there. There is a also a “Looking to Buy” section where you can post what you are looking for.
It’s a new free site for gun collectors and shooting fans- I need help filling it up with listings! Tell your friends about it and lets get it rolling! If you can think of a feature that is missing feel free to use the contact form on this site or contact me directly at contact (at) gunmarket.us

C&R Eligible M1 Carbine at AIM Surplus
AIM Surplus, a popular supplier of C&R firearms, is selling some of their private collection of M1 Garand and M1 Carbine rifles. These US rifles are C&R eligible. They currently have
4 M1 Garands available starting at $1,025 and
3 M1 Carbines available starting at $729.
On a side note, they also have M1C 15-round M1 Carbine mags for $12.95.
Man, I wish I had an extra $800 lying around. Something tells me the wife wouldn’t appreciate a lightly used carbine like I would though…

UTG MNT-MNTR01 Mosin Nagant Tri-Rail
UTG has released a new tactical tri-rail for the 100 year old Mosin Nagant. It features an “innovative double locking system” with zero-gap tolerance for a secure fit. I’m pretty sure that means “you screw it on tight and it won’t fall off.”
The UTG MNT-MNTR01 mount comes with two steel adapters to mount the rail on both full size and carbine Mosin rifles and installs with no gunsmithing required.
Area 51 Tactical it for $29.95. I’ve ordered from them before- They have flat $8 shipping and they’re great guys to deal with.
